Meeting Room Rules
The Library Meeting Room that is available for public use. There is no charge to use the room. For more information stop by the library or call 541-889-6371.
Rule Summary
The Meeting Room at the Ontario Community Library (Ontario Library District) will be available to any group of citizens with the understanding that they will abide by the following regulations.
- Library sponsored activities are given priority when scheduling use of the room.
- Reservations are first come first serve. Reservations for the meeting room can be made by phone or in person at the library front desk. Information needed to reserve the room.
- Date and Time
- Name and contact information of the responsible party.
- Name of the affiliated organization if applicable.
- A copy of signed Meeting Room Form on file (before use of the room.)
- Programs scheduled for after Library closing hours require the responsible party to pick up the key during open hours. This person is responsible for ending condition of the room, turning off lights, locking doors and returning the key to the Library.
- Children’s groups must be adequately supervised. The person signing as responsible party is accountable for supervision of children and ending condition of the room, turning off lights, locking doors and returning the key to the Library.
- There is to be no admission fee charged for attending an event in the Meeting Room. The room is not to be used for "money-making" or "for-profit" activities.
- No alcoholic beverages, smoking or vaping is allowed within the Library, the lobby or Meeting Room.
- Maximum capacity of the Meeting Room is 50 people.
- Any damage to the room or its contents is the responsibility of the individual/organization signing for the room.
