Borrow a Oregon State Parks Permit

Ontario Community Library has four park passes avalible for checkout.  Ask at the counter for more information on the passes and how to check out free with your library card.

 Oregon Parks and Recreation DepartmentOPRD and the State Library of Oregon partnered to offer free Oregon State Parks parking permits to Oregon public libraries. There are currently 200 parking permits available across 82 libraries throughout the state.

Each participating library received up to four parking permits. These are the physical hang tags you check out from the library and put in your car. The permit covers parking in all Oregon State Parks day-use areas for one vehicle. Go to the Oregon State Parks website to find participating libraries. All you need to participate is your library card.

You’ll get a physical hang tag to put on your rearview mirror when you get to the park. The permit covers parking in all Oregon State Parks day-use areas for one vehicle any day of the week.

The pass does not cover registration fees required for special events, tours, or overnight camping. Many park events are free. Check the specific event details on the events calendar.
