Oregon's AMAZING ANIMALS
Virtual Program May 4 - June 1, 2021
From tiny horses to giant sloths, discover the incredible variety of life in Oregon, both past and present. Through fun, hands-on activities and experiments, families can explore adaptations that help animals survive and thrive in diverse habitats like oceans, forests, and rivers. The Amazing Animals kit program is made possible with support from the Institute for Museum and Library Services and the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics.
Library Bookmark Contest
May 1- June 1, 2021
Contest is open to all library patrons ages 5 to 18 from the Ontario Community Library, Nyssa Public Library, Vale Emma Humphrey Library and/or Malheur County residents. Contest sheets/instructions will be available online on the Ontario Community Library website and available at each library.
Library Open for Limited Services
30-Minute Time Limit --- Masks Required at this Time
Due to Social Distancing requirements only a limited number of people may be in the library at a time. Please keep your visit short to allow for others to have access to the Library as well. We are currently asking Patrons/Visitors to limit their time to 30 minutes to allow for this. This 30-minute time limit applies to computer users as well. Due to Covid-19 concerns at this time there are no headphone, no computer assistance, and restrooms/water fountain are closed .
Bookmobile Services Suspended -- Meeting Room is closed.
The Library has a drop box for books and videos, online account services and patrons are always welcome to call for assistance with renewals. If you have questions or concerns please call 541-889-6371. As state health and safety mandates change this will be revised.
